Named for Colonel Juan Seguin, a leader in the battle for Texas Independence, Sequin, TX is a great place to stop and stay a while, for an afternoon, a season, or a lifetime.
Located on the Guadalupe River along I-10, Seguin offers small town charm, the beauty of the Guadalupe River Valley, and the convenience of being only 30 minute from San Antonio, the 2nd largest city in Texas, and Texas' number one tourism destination, featuring such attractions as the Alamo, River Walk, Sea World, Six Flags and the San Antonio Zoo.
Only 12 miles up Hiway 46 is the town of New Braunfels, with its historic German heritage, Schlitterbahn water park, Gruene Dance Hall, and tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers.
About 20 miles up Hiway 123 is San Marcos, Home of the Aquarena Center with their famous glass bottomed boats and river educatin center, Wonder World Park Cave and Attractions, and tubing on the San Marcos River.
